  • Branding Campaigns. This kind of campaign aims to build brand awareness and image, increase website traffic and capture customer information. Then, this can be executed through social media platforms, blogs, forums, news articles, videos, or podcasts. These campaigns are not directly intended at getting a certain response but rather to build awareness about your product or service, they require more time to produce results. 
  • Lead Generation Campaigns. These types of campaigns are geared towards getting leads (prospects). They include search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing (SMM). With lead generation campaigns, you will have a better idea about how much return on investment your efforts will yield. At the same time, you might need to spend more money. These campaigns tend to cost more as they need more manpower and resources. 
  • Direct Response Campaigns. These types of campaigns are geared towards getting a specific response from customers – usually an immediate sale. Then, this type of campaign is mainly used for e-commerce sites. They need to know how well their online advertising is working so that they can retool them accordingly.

Why Digital Marketing Campaign is Important

Making the right digital marketing campaign is important because it will help you gain a better sense of what your customers want and how to meet their needs. It will also help you see which type of campaign is most effective for your brand – whether it’s branding, lead generation, or direct response.

While it’s important to be present on multiple platforms, choose the platforms that work best for your brand. If you’re a local business, for example, Facebook might not be the best platform for you. Instead, maybe Instagram would be better.

Do some research and find out what your target audience wants, then give it to them. Ask yourself questions like “What are my prospects’ needs?” and “What do they find valuable?” Focus on creating something valuable and unique to them instead of trying to replicate a successful ad from another company’s campaign.
